During 5-21 days of treatment, clients detox and begin therapeutic treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders. Sandstone Care facilitates a full continuum of care with referrals to residential treatment centers, outpatient, and extended care options like intensive outpatient programs (IOP).
The staff at Sandstone Care Virginia Detox monitor detox 24/7. A medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychiatric nurses, case managers, and addiction counselors collaborate to help make sure each client progresses well. A therapist or counselor checks in once a day during treatment. Clients also have 2 individual therapy sessions each week. Sandstone Care Detox provides 6 hours of clinical groups each day as well. Their daily schedule includes time for therapy, learning, and rest.
